Since the start of 2021, I have been working on the sound track for a co-production with the community of South East Northumberland, film maker Amanda Loomes and animator Sheryl Jenkins on an animation Close Knit for bait, Museums Northumberland, funded by Arts Council England. My part in the project was to help make a portrait of what it is to live in the area by running workshops, interviewing people, recording a brass band, amazing local musicians playing original pieces, birds, a wind turbine with a contact microphone, the sea with an aquaponic microphone...amongst other things. The film was launched in June 2022.
